Disappearing windows when "restored"

Hi there,

I'm sure people have come across this before, but it has stumped me.

Page Plus 9 and now Word 97 have decided to remove themselves from view when
I click on "Restore". I get them back by Right-click>Maximise or Minimise,
but cannot get hold of the Restored window so that I can resize it.

Anyone got any clues - or even tell me how I could "Move" it without being
able to actually see it?

Oh yes, I'm running WinXP at 1600x1200 screen resolution. Changing
resolution to lower does not alter anything.
I have also experienced this before using Win98SE.
