Disappearing Folders

I had a folder with all my important emails in it and it disappeared today.
They were in both my favorite folders and my online folders (not offline
folders). How can I recover them?
 
Hard to say without any configuration information. Note that a Favorite
Folder is nothing more than a shortcut to the actual folder.
Checked you Deleted Items folder already for subfolders? You might have
deleted it by mistake.
