Disappearing email.

We have a user that loses all his mail (inbox, deleted
items, sent items, etc.)when he shuts off the computer.
He is running XP with Office 2003. We have looked at all
the setting and everything looks normal. Does anyone have
any ideas? Thanks for the help. RickB

Exchange-based or standalone? If the latter, does the PST disappear or is
it still on disk?
