Disabling XAML designer on startup

Hi All,

Is there a way to disable XAML designer while editing any XAML file?
It is very sluggish and gets on my nerve

Well, with most designers you can right click on the file, "Open
With...", select the xml editor, and "Set as Default"

See if that works?

yeah it does work. but that does not solve the problem because the
plain XML Editor does not have Intellisense
