Disabling WLAN through Group Policies

Guest

I have read and reviewed numerous documents on how to use Group Policies to
set up and control access to WLAN. Now please tell me how do you disable
WLAN through the Group Policies.

We wish to prevent users from activating or having active their WLAN access
points while physically connected to the network. Can anyone provide details
or documentation on how to do this.

Thanks

I think [but am not sure] that wireless Group Policy only applies to Windows
XP Pro computers. It can be used to restrict users to preferred wireless
networks only, specify the wireless network and authentication methods. I
suppose you could try to configure the Group Policy to have only a bogus
wireless network as a preferred network to see if that helps. --- Steve
