DISABLING WINDOW MESSENGER

How do I stop Window Messenger from starting each time I
start my computer? I do not use Window Messenger and want
to disable it from running when I turn my PC on. Thanks
in advance for your help.

Greetings Thom,

Just open Windows Messenger (double-click its icon in the notification area/system tray, by
the clock) or click Start, then All Programs, then Windows Messenger, then within Windows
Messenger, click the Tools menu, then Options, then Preferences tab, uncheck 'Run this
program when Windows starts' and click OK. The right-click the Windows Messenger icon in the
notification area/system tray (by the clock) and click Exit.
