Disabling the ability to embed files in Word documents

Are there any suggestions to how I can disable embeding of files inside Word
documents?

I am having problems with students hiding programs, music, and games inside
word documents to avoid detection using the windows search tool.

This is also used to email banned files to school that would nomally be
blocked based on their extension.

So as you can see this is a worrying security risk.

There's nothing you can do in Word to outsmart determined school kids. They
are and always will be smarter than their teachers, and a good thing too.
