disabling pop-up blocker

someone please help.......i think the pop-up blocker on
my explorer is blocking me out of windows i want to
view. when i click on something like a user profile in
chat or a product description the browser beeps and it
says at the bottom "a pop-up window was blocked". please
let me know if you know the problem. thx =)

IE does not have a popup blocker. An plug-in like Goggle search bar has a
popup blocker, so if you have that, turn it off.

Also, most popup blocker can be turned off by holding down the CTRL key.

I had the same problem. You have a couple choices. You
can uninstall pop-up blocker or you can use a firewall
program that allows custom privacy settings for pop-ups
and ad blockers. CA EZ Trust has those options and is
free for the first 12 months. Once you get use to the
allow, block and permission features, you'll wonder how
you managed without it. Good luck I hope this works as
well for you as it did for me.
