Disabling Peer-to-Peer network connections

How do I configure WinXP to ensure my pc does not allow
AdHoc or Peer-to-Peer Connections?
 
In the Network Connections folder, right-click on your Wireless card, go to
Properies \ Wireless Networks \ Advanced, and switch to the second option:
Access Point (infrastructure) networks only.
