Chris

Hello all,

I am running on a Windows Xp PRO system. I've been
getting quite annoyed with the issue of the password
expiring every 30 days or so. Does anyone know how to
stop this from happening. My list of passwords has gotten
quite long. Since I am the only user for this machine, I
have no need for a password system at this time. Any
suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx!!!

Hi,

Start/run "control userpasswords2"

On the advanced tab, click the advanced button (sounds sort of redundant,
doesn't it?). Click on the users folder, then right-click your account and
choose properties. Enable the line for "password never expires". Apply/ok
your way out.

Control Panel - Admin tools - Local Security Policy.

In Account Policies - Password Policies, set the top four to 0 (zero) to
disable that limit.
