Disabling ICS on client pc

The only documentation I can find only gives the
directions for disabling on the host machine. Does anyone
know how to get my PC to start using its own modem instead
of ICS when the other computer isn't present and will
never be present again? Thank you,
 
Run ipconfig /release to get rid of the DHCP assigned address on the client
PC
In control panel, internet options, connections, choose the connection type
you wish.
