Disabling Group Registry.

How I can diable the group registry access? User can access the registry by
typing gpedit.msc on the run utility. Can I disable it or put a password?

Users should not be able to get into the registry. We can infer from
your post that you have XP Pro, but we don't know if this is a
standalone pc or a workstation on a domain. If on a domain, what
operating system and Service Pack level is the server running?

Users should not be local or domain administrators. Use Group Policy to
set rights and permissions of users. For questions regarding Group
Policy, post here:

microsoft.public.windows.group_policy

You can change the ownership permissions of the file. Permit
Administrators, System and yourself.
Remove Everyone, Users and others.

So no matter if they find it or not, they cannot execute it.
