Disabling auto-shrinking of text

After entering more text that can fit on a single slide, PowerPoint XP
auto-shrinks the font size. How can I disable this feature?

Tools/Autocorrect. Deselect the autofit options.
 
Vinod,
Go to Tools - Auto-correction options - Auto format as you type - in the
second section you can disable that behaviour. You are problable after the
second and the third option there.
