administrator". how can i re-able??????

Help!

Task Manager is not corrupt. This behavior is symptomatic of some type of "malware", virus or other infection.

See www.dougknox.com, Win XP Utilities, Disable/Enable Task Manager. This will allow you to re-enable it.

Then ensure your antivirus software is up to date, and rescan your system. Preferably from Safe Mode.

Additionally, check out programs like AdAware www.lavasoftusa.com and Spybot Search and Destroy www.safer-networking.org For these last 2, even though you just downloaded them, make sure you check for the latest updates.
