Given that Publisher is incompatible with Word format, I find this hard to
believe. What I suspect you mean is that the file association in Windows
Explorer now has DOC allocated to Publisher. To reset it to Word see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ReRegisterWord.htm
