I have a several websites that I frequent that make use of ActiveX controls
and such. I tried putting them in trusted sites but that didn't help.
Vista/IE7 kept blocking the function of the sites. So I disabled the ActiveX
checking and the sites work just fine. Now, however, I get a security
warning every time I open a page on ANY site in IE7 that tells me my
computer is at risk.
Sooooo I go to the security center and I have 3 options - warn me and show
icon, don't warn me but show icon and don't warn me and don't show icon. The
first one is selected BUT if I select #2 and close the window the messages
are still there. If I reopen the security center the selection has defaulted
back to #1.
How can I permanently turn off those annoying warnings? I prefer to maintain
my own level of security.
Thanx!
