I am desparately looking for a way to permanently disable StickyKeys in
Windows XP Pro. I work in a public school district and have a couple hundred
computers to do this on. But when kids are practicing their typing, the
sometimes hesitate and hold down the shift key. This turns on StickyKeys.
The only way to turn it off completely is to restart the computer. As you
might imagine, this is anoying to say the least. Please help!! I'll take a
registry edit, a Group Policy solution would be even better, anything!

No, you don't have to restart to turn it off, either right click on the
systray icon and turn it off or in Control Panel, Accessibility Options.
It can be disabled there, too.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\StickyKeys]
"Flags"="506"

I have the same problem. I tried your solution, Steve, and changed the flags
value to 506 in the registry, but it did not work. I have no keyboard option
under Accessibility Options either... Any other ideas on removing Stickykeys
or FilterKeys?

Thanks!
