disable shadow copy in wxp sp2

okay,sp2 automatically installs the volum shadow copy client.is there a way
to prevent this or can i disable this client? i dont want to give ordinary
user to posibility to see the previous versions tab or to let them restore
these files.

Volume Shadow Copy Service can indeed be turned off, as long as you aren't
doing backups of your system drive. It has nothing directly to do with
seeing the tab or not. Here's a refereince for you:

dont think this is an answer for my question.the problem is,that i need to
disable the software from the client.we are having shadow copy enabled on our
servers and i dont want users to be able to restore at all.
i cant find that in the microsoft link.

In that case, shadow copy has nothing to do with restoring files; it's for
reading files to copy them when they're in use. You'd have to disable the
ability to restore instead, which I don't know the answer to.

small misunderstanding,can happen.
actually i dont understand why microsoft doenst give us the ability to
disable this.microsoft is interfering with a company's backup policy because
microsoft is giving ordinary users the ability to restore files.
