Disable right click

I am a teachers aide at a Specialist School and work with disabled children.
Recently I have been making Powerpoint stories for some of my students and I
have one who tends to hit the right click button on the mouse accidentally,
which stops the slideshow. I was just wondering if there is an easy way to
disable the right mouse button.

In tools > options > view you will find an option to prevent pop up menus on
right click.

This is NOT your answer! If you do it the slide show will reverse on right
click - even worse in your case.

How about this:

In slide transition uncheck advance on mouse click and apply to all slides.
The mouse will now not work but slides will advance on pressing the space bar.

John's suggestion is a good 'un.

Another:
Choose SlideShow, Set Up Show ...
Select Kiosk mode and click OK

Now you'll need to add your own navigation buttons, because in Kiosk mode, PPT
ignores mouseclicks, keystrokes and pretty much everything else BUT clicks on
navigation buttons and the ESC key.
