disable overdue reminders

Im using outlook 2000.

I dont want to be reminded on past appoitnments/meetings. How can I disable
overdue reminders from popping up?

Any registry key or option?

Henry,

You should be able to "Open Item", when an appointment/meeting reminder pops
up. When it opens, "uncheck" the reminder.
