Disable MS outlook

I use Office 2003 with my VIsta OS.

I try to send an e-mial attachment from the web and it is automatically
trying to use MS Outlook instead of Windows mail. How do I correct this?
 
By setting your prefered mail app in Internet Options
If you do not intend to use outlook you might be advised to modify your
Office installation to make outlook unavailable
