Disable Event Log Alerts

Everytime I reboot, I get an Alert that tells me about a
System Error, Event ID and to look at the Event Viewer.
I researched the Error and it is a minor one that I don't
want to be alerted each time about when I reboot.

Is there a way to disable alerts about stuff that is
stored in your Event Viewer?
