Disable drop down box feature

I was wondering if any one knows how to disable the drop
down box feature of IE6.0.

This the drop down box that is provided when you are on
websites like google, and are typing in search words, or
email address box from some form, that email address is
remembered and redisplayed on some other website which
uses the same field value.

I think the data is in the registry, but I am not sure
how to access it and delete that information.
 
In the Internet Options Controls Panel (Tools=>Internet Options menu in IE),
on the Content tab press the Auto-Complete button to display the setting for
Auto-completion. Here you will find options to turn auto-completion on and
off and to clear the Auto-complete history.
