Disable "Display as HTML" tag

Hi, I am currently working on an issue where we've setup Outlook to
receive all messages whether they be HTML or RTF and convert them to
plain text. The problem we're seeing is that users can change the
email back to HTML by clicking a box at the top of the email either
viewing it through the preview pane or fully opening the email and
convert it back to HTML.

When a message is converted from RTF or HTML to plaintext, messages are
tagged at the top of the email saying "The message was converted to
plain text". If users click that area of the screen, they are given
two options: They can "Display as HTML" or go to "Email Options". What
I'd like to do is not allow the users to "Display as HTML".

Anyone out there know how to disable that feature in Outlook 2003?

Thanks

Dave,

Look at the Outlook .ADM file, OUTLK11.ADM, found in root\windows\inf
folder. This is the Outlook administration template used in the MMC snapin
Local Computer Policy==>User configuration==>Microsoft Office Outlook
2003==>Tools | Options==>Mail Format==>Internet Formatting path.
Looking at the .adm file with notepad allows you to see where the
registry settings are and then knowing where they are, a GPO could be made
and applied.

This is not the definitive answer but give you a place to look anyway.
