I am using Windows XP stand alone machine in Multi user enviornment.
But I donot want users to use cdrom to access. So i logon as administrator
and in group policy I disable access to CDROm for Local Users. Save Policy
and restart computer.
When Any user logon they still can access cdrom.
Any help where I am missing ?

I have only one cdrom in my computer.

Thanks for help.

I think u r used local security policies to do this, the state ment is
"Restrict Cdrom acces to localy logged on user" that means it is only
acces by localy logged on user
while it is unaccessable anyone try to use the CD share from network
