Disaapearing C

hi all.
running windows xp.
my system disk, c: drive, has seemed to disappear from the 'my computer'
folder. its still accessable by other means but it just doesnt show up. when
i log in as a guest its there but under my usual account only my floppy,
secondary hard drive (d, cd and dvd rom drives show up. also when i try
to search for something it wont give me the option to search the c: drive
only the others....
HELP! id be so grateful!!

ok, found out the answer myself. very strange. was trying everything and
then i went into tweak ui. seems the viewing of the C: panel had somehow
unchecked itself... hmm. anyway, simply checked the box and was viewable
again, hurrah!
