Hi V_R,

Tried to download but got message to say that this download did not apply to my system. Any idea why? Is it for something that may have previously been downloaded?

Yes for Vista users. But as V_R pointed out, us Windows 7 users already have DirectX 11...

I think what is needed is for Nivrip to confirm if he is ising Vista or Windows 7. This is where I think the confusion has come in.....;)

Confirming that I was using Vista was all part of the download procedure so I'm still not sure what is going on.

Strange..Not been on Vista I can't even check it out...Have you tried a different download location. ie, not from MS site...What Service Pack are youi uisning with Your Vista install ? That could be the problem.. I know I had something the same with XP and the Service Pack causing havoc..
