Direction of Paste?

How can I change the direction of how I paste...

Let's say I have 1 2 3 4 5

and after I copy it, I want to paste it as

5 4 3 2 1

In what context are you trying to do this: Excel, Word, Access, or some
other application?

Do these represent separate values in separate fields? or are they supposed
to be characters within a single string?
