Direct3D will not launch

Direct 3D is not launching when try to play Hitman 2. It
gives "unable to create device" error. I have already
played Hitman 2 and in the middle of a level, when I
tried to start up again, and this error popped up. Any
ideas????

Run DXDIAG and run display Diagnostics for your card.
Does the graphics card display ok in Device Manager?
