Direct X...

I was totally bored one day, and i just decided to install
DirectX9.0b. After that my computer started taking alot
longer to load up to the desktop. I don't really play much
computer games or none at all on my computer running on
Windows 2000 Professional SP4. I only enjoy the Windows
games:) Now that i can't remove directX9.0b i'm stuck with
a slower boot to the desktop. I'm wondering is there a way
to downgrade DirectX since you can't uninstall it now?

I always defrag after installing or upgrading software. A lot gets changed.
Might help. Might not.
