Direct Input Issues

I have the latest version of DirectX and my system is up
to date with all dirvers and updates.

but unfortunatley i cannot play a the game X-tension by
egosoft properly

my keys appear to get stuck which causes lots of
frustration.

i went on Egosoft website and they have noted that there
is a problem but all they say is that it is a problem with
the win2000 os or maybe they say it will be resolved in
directx v8. the current directx v is 9, and still the game
doesnt work.

Is there anything i can do to resolve this problem ?

Hi Chris,
Egosoft has recently released patch v1.2 for X2 - The Threat and in it they
mention some joystick/gamepad fixes. Have you tried this patch yet?
