I would like to have my desktop as the "guest" using Direct Cable Connection
but this program isn't installed on my computer. I copied DirectCC.exe from
my laptop, Win ME, but when I tried to run it I got this message: "The
ordinal 500 could not be located in the dynamic link library RASAPI32.dll".
My computer has pre-installed XP Home so therefore do not have the
installation disk. Is it possible to run DCC on XP?

Few people use direct cable connections these days; most use
a network cable. You are likely to get far more support if you
went down the network path.
