Dim db As Database does not compile

[Bill (Unique as my name)]

Dim db As Database ' Current DB

This does not work in Access 2000 VB. Is there a way around it?

Hi, Bill.

You need to add the DAO 3.6 Object Library as a reference. The Database
class is contained in this library.
