Digital Rights with MovieMaker

Question... I downloaded music from a reputable source, and want to use it in
a Movie (slideshow), but the error is:

"(filename).wma is protected using digital rights management and cannot be
imported".

Is there any legal way around this, or do I simply have to use MP3s for it?
