Hi, is there a way you can setup outlook to show a different signature
for different accounts (like business and personal). I have looked
around in outlook but couldn't find anything to that effect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

No, but in Outlook 2003 you can set a default signature for each account
though.

-What do the Outlook Icons Mean?
-Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1

Ok, I use Outlook 2003. I use Outlook as my editor. I have created two
profiles and I have created a different signature for each of those profiles.
Now, I have (in acordance with the MS outlook instructions) setup each
account to include their respective signatures for all new and reply email.

When I click "New" message it always puts the signature for the default
account in the message automatically. No problem until I want to send the
message as the second profile. I can change the profile by clicking on the
"Account" button and it does send from that profile but it does not change
the signature to that profile.

Maybe I assuming that Outlook is smarter than it is??? I just swicthed from
Eudora and this feature worked with complete automation by simply changing
the account from which I was sending. Will Outlook not do this? Di I need
to set them as blank and then insert the signatures manually for every
message???

Any help is appreciated.

You need to be using Word as your editor if you want Outlook to chagne
signature when you switch accounts.

Well I'll be! That did it. Thanks a bunch.

Now my next question is...Outlook gives these options for editing. Why? Is
one better or more limiting than the other?

Thanks for the help :-)

Outlook can installed both with and without Word. Therefore, it needs its
own editor for the standalone situations. But when Word is installed, why
not take advantage of as many of its features as possible?
