Keith

Unlike the other "send" problems here, I can send mail but 50 percent of the
time my sent mails are not received by the recipients and I get no indication
as to which ones have failed. Was working fine until I installed service
pack 1. Although getting stuck in my outbox is not the problem, I tried to
download the fix but it said was not applicable to my system. I can't risk
my business emails not being received and don't know what to do besides work
from a different program.
Help please.
Thanks!

Do the 50% that are not getting there have the same ISP address? If that is
the case it is the recipient's problem and not yours.

In all cases do the sent messages leave a copy in the Sent Items folder?
If so, the message was accepted by your outgoing mail server.
It is very unusual not to get a bounce notice or non-delivery notice for
messages that are refused by the destination mail server. The only
explanation I can think of is a spam filter at the recipient's end.

Yes, always a copy in the sent folder.
Occasionally I do get a non-delivery notice but not for 95% which isn't
being delivered. I know, very strange, especially since was working fine for
so long.

Thanks for the response.

Don't know how to check the recipient ISP addresses but doubtful since the
non delivers run the gammut of places.

Thanks.

Having the exact same problem with Vista's Windows Mail? Emails sent from me
and not received by others are not bouncing back as undeliverable. Happening
to various ISP addresses. Also not receiving emails send by others on
occasion.

When I do a search with "find" emails I can see some of the ones I did not
get, although I have to know who sent me emails-not a very resourceful
solution.

My Inbox says I have 3 unread messages, but looking down the list there
aren't three in bold and new messages. Seems that they are being stored
somewhere-not sure where. They are not flagged as hidden emails either.

Sometimes the reply messages are missing-like the computer doesn't want to
display an email with the same subject line as one that is already listed????

Go to View, Current View, and make sure "Group messages by conversation"
is not checked. Also, verify that "Show All Messages" is checked. The
latter setting is saved on a 'per folder' basis, so you may have to open
each folder and check its Current View setting.

As I said below, there's not much you can do when a sent message never arrives,
and it doesn't generate an error message or a non-delivery notice.
Tell your recipients to look in their spam folder.
