Different password policy for some users

My boss wants me to lengthen the maximum age of passwords so users
aren't required to suffer the annoyance of having to change too
frequently.

I know how to do this by editiing the group policy, but I would like to
have certain users, who have elevated privileges, to be forced to
change their passwords as frequently as at present.

Is there any way to override the grouop policy for specific users or do
I have to do it manually.

There is only one set of account policies applied to a domain and it is
applied equally to all accounts. Anything else for domain accounts
requires third-party extensions. You might want to look into using
smart cards for privileged accounts.

Thanks for the confirmation Roger - that's what I thought the answer
would be.
