I am trying to position a page number in the bottom center of the first page
of my document while positioning all the others in the top right of all
following pages. Does anyone know how to do this?

In File - Page Setup - Layout tab, specify Different First Page. If you need
more variation than that, you'd need to insert section breaks and have
different header/footers for different sections.

Thanks. That worked. However, it seems to only work if you insert the page
number by going to View - Header and Footer rather than doing it through the
Insert menu itself. Nevertheless, it worked. Thanks again for the tip.
