Different Outlook question than most on this board...

I really want to start using the whole suite of MS Office products to build a
customizable CRM tool - and I believe that starts with Outlook. Can anyone
give me some helpful reosurces on finding info on how to build Outlook to be
more than just an email and contact place? I don't really want to use Small
Biz Manager because that is too sales-driven for what I need. I am a senior
staffing recruiter, so I need it more for relationship management.

Thanks!

Robert,
While Access and Outlook have possibilities, one has to build from the
ground up.
Even with a small office, we opted for MS's CRM application. It integrates
with Outlook very nicely and gives all the relationship mgmt options one
could want. We primarily chose it for the 'joint' calender, which doesn't
seem to be available in any other MS application, but if I sound like an ad
for CRM - trust me it has been very painful for a small firm with no IT
staff. I'd be happy to elaborate further if need be.
