Different Fonts, Different Copies

I'm trying to figure out why when I installed Office 2007 student/home
edition on my computer I only got about 50 fonts, but when my mom installed
it on hers (from another copy of Office 2007 student/home) she got a lot more
fonts. This doesn't make any sense, because neither one of us did a custom
install.
Help, please!
Thanks!

Ellen -

Typically fonts are installed as part of the printer that is associated
with the computer. So, if you install the same printer that your mom has
installed on her computer, I'll bet that you get more fonts.

I see. However, I have a "higher end" or a "better" printer than she does.
Is this a printer issue then?
Thanks!

Typically, Yes. Printers will install the fonts that it is capable of
printing. You may want to check to be sure that you have the latest and
greatest printer driver for your printer.
