Hello:
Will be taking an online course in introductory databases, as it's something
I feel I should know something about.
Access is the suggested db to have on one's PC for the course, although
several
others are apparently acceptable also.
I have an old version of Access which originally came with a PC running W
95.
It's Access for Windows 95, version 7.00.
The course hasn't started yet, so can't ask instructor.
But, would like to get a bit of a heads up before the course does start.
Also, would like, if practical, to save the cost of a brand new Access
package.
My question is: How likely different is the package I now have (it does
have SQL commands, etc.) compared
to the new Access ?
Is it "just" bells-and-whistles," and probably a prettier interface, or are
there really
meaningful differences in all likelihood ?
Thanks,
R.
