We host our web site and it runs on windows 2003 standart server edition.
Also frontpage server extensions 2002 is installed.
I need to create intranet for some of the users. Should I create it through
frontpages server extensions or NTFS security settings? What is the
difference between these two? I tried with NTFS security settings, but it
seems Mac computers can access these pages without password entry.

thanks for help

You have to set basic authentication when using NTFS for non-Window users.
