Difference between Everest and SIW

I used the following hardware information softwares
Everest ( available at http://www.lavalys.com/) and System Information
for Windows ( available at http://www3.sympatico.ca/gtopala/ ) in the
same
machine.
Everest says 4 PCI , 2 ISA and 1 AGP slots exist in the motherboard.
SIW says 5 PCI , 2 ISA and 1 AGP slots exist .

When I refered the motherboard manual , the information given by
Everest only is correct.

Does any body know why SIW shows one PCI slot extra ? Or is it that SIW
cannot properly identify the motherboard ?

Thanks.

Isn't it so that these programs rely on a database? So if the database is
wrong that should appear in the report.
