Difference between downloaded XP sp2 and the free CD...

I am at wits end as I am wondering why my updated machine is without Windows
Movie maker 2.1 which is supposedly on the SP 2 update. According to the CD I
ordered, it has Movie maker 2.1 on it but when I installed it cleanly on a
formatted XP pro machine, no movie maker 2.1. Before the format, I downloaded
the admin of the SP2 and it gave me Movie maker 2.1. Does the CD contain less
than the downloaded sp2? I am a freak when it comes to having all the latest
updates and patches, so you can imagine my concern when I had to download
movie maker version 2 instead of 2.1. Where can I get version 2.1 if it won't
install from the CD and is not available at Windows Update?

Gerry-

Where's the download link? It's either order a CD or use windows Update.
Windows update doesn't list it as an update for my machine with SP2 and when
I click on about when running Movie maker it states version 2.0. So what now?

Gerry-

That's a link to Windows Update which in turns shows that I do not need
any updates, however version 2.0 of Movie Maker is installed and not version
2.1 that comes with SP 2.
