i tried to set some IF function into the cell with AND function inside it........but once I reach the eight function, it's just don't allow me to continue.........do u have any idea on this..

Hi
you're limited to a maximum of 7 nested functions. If you have many
criteria you may consider using a lookup table and use VLOOKUP to get
your result. If you may provide some more details what you're trying to
achieve we couild create a starting formula for you

yes, IF function limited to 7 statements in both the true & false part

try using VLOOKUP instead - need a table with the different options &
results - post back if you'ld like more details
