Is it possible to remove a word from the office
dictionary? I mistakenly added a mis-spelled word and I
want to undo it before I forget what it was!

I'm not positive, but I believe you need to open your custom.dic file in a
text editor (such as notepad) and delete the entry from there.

In Outlook, tools, options, spelling tab, edit custom dictionary button.

On the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect Options, and then click the AutoCorrect
tab.
Change the misspelled entry
In the list of entries, click the row with the entry you want to change.
Click Delete.
The old entry is now highlighted in the Replace box.
Type the new entry in the Replace box.
Click Add.

If you do not find your word there, then open MSWord, click on Tools | Options |
Spelling & Grammar | Custom Dictionary | Modify | make your changes. ISTR that
PowerPoint uses the same dictionary
