Dias list view to function like a tree structure for better overvi

Sometimes you get an awful lot of slides for a presentation and it gets
tedious to navigate in the dias list view/pane (the view on the left side of
the screen with miniatures of all the slides). It would be nice to be able to
group slides together under some "major" slides - like dividing the
presentation into chapters.

SO THE SUGGESTION TO MICROSOFT IS to make this possible, fx. by making the
dias list view function like a tree structure (like in windows explorer).
This could of course just be optional.

If this can already be done and I just missed it, though I have looked for
it (I have even been searching for a plugin), please let me know how.

Glad you like my suggestion - hope MS likes it too :)
Thanks for the hint. Only had time to try it briefly but I couldn't get it
to work properly - it seems the slides i collapse also disappear from the
slideshow. Must try it out a bit more thoroughly later. Couldn't find a place
to get the toolbar you mention to show. I guess you're not using PPT 2007?
