Any good freeware to create an electronic diary (simulate personal paper
diary)? Mainly to record events rather than plan

I use Lotus Organizer v. 5.0 which occasionally crops up on Cover CD's.
(Does this 'count' as freeware? If not, sorry)
:)

For more options, enter 'diary' in 'Search this group' in the upper
right-hand side of the page. ;o)

I like EverNote. It has amazing search capability, which you will
appreciate after many years of entries.

Hi you recommended this to me recently - tried it and its great - but -
having problems with the computer crashing and I want to transfer the
software and my diary to my new computer - do you know how to do this? my
diary is password protected. Whatever I do I don't want to lose all the info
I put in. If I installed the software is it just a question of copying the
diary files? What about the password protection - could I still access the
data?

Because the lack of proper printing functions (only 1 day) I really
prefer Advanced Diary from http://www.csoftlab.com/

I haven't ever bothered to check out how the password works. I would be
inclined to un-password the diary and then transfer the files to your new
computer, and re-password it from there.

To remove password File/Maintenance/Change Password, enter your current
password and checkmark the box 'Do not prompt for password', then OK.
