Dial-up password

Not anywhere that you can recover it. You'll need to contact your ISP to
have your password reset.

You can use a Ethereal (WireShark) to sniff it if you have it saved but
don't know what it is.

I forgot my dial-up password. Where is it stored?

It could be stored in:
1) your router's internal memory (if you have a router that is)
2) a piece of paper somewhere on your desk which you wrote the password on
3) a file on your computer which contains significant passwords in plain
text (not a good idea, but people do that)
4) the password file on your isp's computer (this is quite certain)
You should contact your isp to get your password (in their password file)
reset.
Reset it again so that you are the only person who knows the password. This
time, don't forget it again.
