Dial Up Networking Has Disappeared In XP Pro

My dial up networking has disappeared, I removed my juno software by
uninstalling it as directed. I installed netzero and tried to log on and got
an error message ("0 could not dial out). Checked properties and tried to
connect via the xp wizard. All the dial up properties were grayed out. Did
the usual tried to create a new dial adapter, vpn, etc. Won't let me do
anything. My dsl connection still works with no problem. I had the annoying
problem of juno trying to start everytime I first opened my IE browser when
using dsl. That's why I changed to netzero for my dial up

I purchased a copy of windows xp professional and yes I've lost it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Why do people install third party software for a dialup ISP (excluding AOL).
All you do is manually create a dialer which takes less than 5 seconds. You
can then have dialers to multiple ISPs.

See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;320558 to get
the wizard working.

N.B. And wouldn't it have been easier to simply have changed Tools/Internet
Options/Connections Tab to "Never Dial a Connection" rather than change ISP.
